Rik Mayall - Don't Fear Death

Don't Fear Death is a short animated comedy written, produced and directed by award-winning film duo Louis Hudson and Ian Ravenscroft. It is voiced by comedy legend Rik Mayall (The Young Ones, Bottom).
The film was commissioned for Channel 4's Random Acts strand. Following its screening on the network in August, Don't Fear Death was submitted to festivals around the world and has picked up several official selections already, including its world festival premiere in competition at Milano Film Festival, and competition selections at London International Animation Festival, Klik! Animation Festival Amsterdam, and Malta Horror Festival. Further competition screenings are expected in the coming months.
The animation was produced by Dice Productions. They are now planning to follow up Don't Fear Death with a further commission for Random Acts called Gregory is a Dancer. The short film will be a live-action, dance-based, narrative comedy music video and will air on Channel 4 towards the end of the year or in early 2014.
