Rufus Hound is amongst those invited by Alexis Conran to have a go at being a phone scammer. Joined by Carol Vorderman and Donna Air, Rufus learns about techniques scammers use and how to avoid becoming the victim of a scam.

This video was filmed by Financial Fraud Action UK as part of its Take Five campaign which aims to help make consumers aware of the often simple methods - both emotional and technical - that fraudsters use to glean financial and personal details.

Rufus Hound says: "I decided to get involved in the Take Five campaign as my wife and I have been victims of fraud ourselves. I couldn't believe how far these scammers will go to lure financial and personal details from people. Hopefully this campaign will raise awareness of a serious issue and encourage people to Take Five before they give out any financial and personal details."
