Joel Fry opens up on the best ways to usher in the end of the world and the lengths he had to go to
while playing Dave.

Could you start to describe your character?

Dave is Jamie's best friend. He hasn't really got anything going on in his own life so he kind of latches on to Jamie's and goes on an adventure with him.

Are you enjoying working with Mat?

He's a really cool guy, and working with him has been the best part of the job. We get on really well and he's a good person to have as number one on the call sheet.

Did you enjoy riding on top of the car?

I was flying on top of a car at one point, which was weird. I've done a few weird things - I got a suppository the other day! But the car roof was fun, it was cold, freezing, in fact, but it was fun.

If you heard that there was to be an impending apocalypse, how would you spend your final days?

The producer has a good answer for this one. He said get out of London, go somewhere quiet with everyone you like, and just get hammered and say all the things that you hadn't said to anyone.

Oh, and skinny dip. And eat all the things you're not supposed to eat. There are loads of other things to do. You're going to die! You've got to cram in all sorts, as long as you're with your loved ones.
