It is autumn in the garden and Wussywat has found a torch. Once he discovers how it works, he tries to light things up with it. He lights up Duckadile's yawn, Oggy's yep, a wellington boot and lots of shadowy places in the vegetable place. When he stumbles upon a swirly snail, he is surprised backwards into Ortus's scooped out pumpkin. Ortus admits he didn't know what he was going to do with it but it is full of holes now and it is getting dark. Wussywat has the idea to put his torch inside and light up the pumpkin like a lantern. What a clever cat!
