There's a strange smell in the garden and Wussywat doesn't like it, so he tries to find out what it is. First he encounters Ortus in his herb garden. His herbs smell nice. Then Oggy takes him on a sniff chase only to find loads of nice smelling flowers. Next, he and Duckadile discover Ird's newly baked cakes - but they are too yummy to smell bad.
Then Wussywat discovers the compost heap which is really, really stinky! Wussywat has the idea to take some of the nice smelling things and put them around the stinky thing. What a clever cat!
