Worzel Gummidge - The Complete Series 2
All eight episodes from the second series of the TV show about the amiable, head-changing scarecrow.
Worzel And The Saucy Nancy sees Worzel (Jon Pertwee) catching the eye of a saucy ship's figurehead (Barbara Windsor). In Worzel's Nephew, Worzel's unruly nephew Pickles gets a job on Braithwaite's farm, and blackmails his uncle into doing his chores for him. In A Fishy Tale, Worzel finds himself mistaken for a handyman when he is spotted fishing in Mrs Bloomsbury-Barton's pond. The Trial Of Worzel Gummidge sees Worzel placed on trial by the Crowman and a jury of scarecrows when he accidentally hits passers-by and a greenhouse while throwing potatoes at the rooks.
In Very Good Worzel, Worzel and Aunt Sally (Una Stubbs) are mistaken for a butler and maid at Mrs Bloomsbury-Barton's grand luncheon. A food fight ensues. In Worzel In The Limelight Aunt Sally and Worzel decide to enter the talent contest as a double act. But they begin to argue and decide to enter as solo acts. In Fire Drill Worzel finds himself wanted as the guest of honour at a bonfire party - as the guy! Finally in The Scarecrow Wedding Aunt Sally is dumped in the dishwasher of a junkshop. Worzel manages to rescue her and in return she says yes to marrying him...
