Further details

Katie has last minute unexpected problems with the launch of her photography exhibition. It seems Sean is the only person who can save the day but he's the last person Katie wants to see, leaving her in a difficult position. Laura responds badly to criticism at work and decides to take a sickie. While looking after and almost losing her nephew, she bumps into James, her nephew's godfather and invites him to Katie's exhibition. When he lets her down she turns to Kieran, which leads Laura to making a drastic decision. At a fertility MOT Alison doesn't react well to Martin's results and she begins to question not just their wedding but the entire relationship.

Press

While lacking the vulgar blunt force of her other show, Catastrophe, this Sharon Horgan-created series is more agreeably scabrous than most primetime comedy. In tonight's penultimate episode: mild criticism at a team-building event sends Laura into a shame spiral, and Alison reacts badly to news of her partner's low sperm count.
