Shown as part of Channel 4's Funny Fortnight season, Popadoodledandy is the near-legendary 'lost' pop show from Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
In the traditional style of all the very best TV pop shows, it features performances from groups, its own dance troupe, interviews, video reviews, and pop star celebrity guest spots! But everything, of course, is sprinkled with glorious surreal Vic and Bob magic.
Made in late 1992, Popadoodledandy was due to follow Big Night Out on C4, but then Vic and Bob transferred to BBC2, where they set off to make The Smell Of Reeves And Mortimer. Popadoodledandy then settled quietly into the archives, where it became their secret legendary show, spoken of, but never seen... Until now.
The band Cud perform Rich and Strange; Milan perform Is It Love You're After; Denim perform Here Is My Song For Europe.
