James 'Jim' London becomes a man of property when a relative dies, leaving him the run-down Victorian abode of 17 Railway Terrace, in Elephant and Castle (south London).
He's troubled by randy neighbour Wanda, and the troublesome Councillors Allnutt and Moggs - not to mention his own lack of money, and the squatter upstairs!
