Before Kim has a moment to cope with the fallout of her mother's deception, Brooks and Thompson's plan to use Jay to track them down backfires. Tina discovers Jay has kept the money and put all their lives at risk.

Determined to save Kim and return her to safety in Scotland, Tina cuts a deal with Brooks and arranges to deliver him both the cash and a fall guy for Terri. But at the drop-off everyone becomes distracted by an argument between Jay and Beth.

Kim ends up standing in front of Brooks and Thompson with the money. Tina is forced to intervene and the gang try to outrun the killers. Tina has no choice but to take everyone - and the money - back to their isolated Scottish bolt-hole.

As they camp overnight in the forest, Tina offers Jay some uncharacteristically useful advice. Kim finally kisses Nicky and he accidentally admits he's read her notebook. Kim is devastated by his betrayal.

As Beth tries to find Jay to make things right, Brooks and Thompson are not far behind.
