Further details
In the 1990s, there were over 300 working men's clubs in south Wales, such as the Tonyrefail Working Men's Club, where men would go to get away from their families. Tudur watches as, deep within the men's only bar, they discuss whether women and children would ever be allowed into their inner sanctum.
He also follows the men's and women's Glamorgan darts teams as they travelled to Kent for an important competition back in 2005. The kings and queens of the oche experience the highs and lows of a rare past time that unites the sexes.
The rise of a female comedian also proved that the old stereotype of it being a man's world was being challenged in every aspect of Welsh life back in the 1990s. After years of men being able to laugh at the women's expense, she makes sure that men finally get their comeuppance.
