Series 3, Episode 5 - Art

Tudur Owen sets out on a quest to discover the meaning of art. It's a long strange trip into a world of giant inflatables, edible sculptures and flying doughnuts, full of lively characters from the nation's TV past.

Ystrad Fawr is on the look-out for junior male ballroom dancers. The girls in the dance class have been tasked with recruiting eight boys, in order to teach them latin ballroom dancing over five weeks, with the aim to perform a one minute routine at a demonstration in Cardiff. Can they convince the boys to take part? And how will they get on?

An exhibition is taking place at the Orangery in Margam's Country Park. Twins Doug and Brian, who are both qualified gardeners at the park, have a special talent of working together on oil paintings. They start at separate sections of the painting, and then meet up in the middle.

And one French chef has perfected the craft of butter modelling. Creating sculptures such as turkeys and mermaids, these models are used at Theatr Clwyd in Mold as centrepieces for buffets.
