Relationships and jobs are on the line. Everyone rallies around Iain when he suffers a bereavement, especially Matt, who wants to make sure Meg's efforts to help the doctor through a difficult time don't reignite their old flame. Meg and Matt's relationship hasn't felt this strong in ages and he's not going to let anything ruin it.

Sam, meanwhile, worries about receiving his P45 when area manager Chloe sniffs out his dodgy deal to stock Deansfield Chutney. Although he's usually the one trying to flirt his way out of bother, Sam thinks Matt might have more luck and asks him for help.
