Further details
The search for the new Valco area manager is finally over. But news of the successful candidate leaves Gavin reeling. Then, after an unexpected incident in the store, Gavin's thoughts turn to the amount of cheap unhealthy food that Valco sells. Determined to take better care of his customers, he vows to make a change.
Meanwhile, Brian is horrified to learn that Margaret has developed a very expensive new habit, while rumours of a possible relationship between Katie and Daniel spread through the aisles. Plus, pushy, arrogant new 'pleasure food' sales rep Duncan Trench makes his presence felt at Valco.

Press
A sixth series for the supermarket comedy which, although neither original nor overly ambitious, manages to trundle along nicely with a gentle brand of laughs and a smattering of familiar faces. The new Valco area manager is announced, but Gavin isn't sure about management's decision. Elsewhere, Margaret is hooked on scratchcards and overfamiliar sales rep Duncan Trench (Rufus Hound) arrives in Warrington with big business cards and an even bigger ego.
