Gavin invites Julie over for Christmas dinner and, understandably, she thinks this is going to be the mistletoe moment she's been waiting for, so much so that she turns down an opportunity to head up the Widnes branch of Valco. As it turns out, Gavin does have something to say, but will it be what Julie wants to hear?

Chaos reigns supreme elsewhere in the store and, while Lisa showcases her enviable hospitality skills serving a famous customer, Colin and Leighton, dressed as elves, wage war against a group of carol-singing scouts. Not to mention the brewing snowstorm threatening to derail everyone's Christmas plans, especially Linda's, who's due to fly to Dubai.

Margaret, though, knows just the thing to take the sting out of a bad situation.
