Series 1 (2011)

The 8-part first series introduced viewers to the world of the Valco supermarket in 2011.

Series 2 (2012)

A 13-part second series started in August 2012. Gavin became Area Manager, resulting in the scary Lorraine coming in. Other new characters included Sharon and Neville. There was also a special for Christmas 2012.

Series 3 (2013)

Richard France, Valco's new Head of Strategy, makes some changes in Series 3. Other new characters include Gavin's Spanish girlfriend and a pair of fishmongers.

Series 4 (2014)

New characters for Series 4 included Colin's seemingly sweet nan Rose, pharmacist-cum-fantasist Brian, and the dizzy daughter of the owner of Valco.

Series 5 (2015)

Valco comes under threat from a budget store opening nearby. There's better news on the personal front for manager Gavin, though, when he falls for the charms of newcomer Cheryl - but is she all she appears to be?
