Toast Of London - Series Two
Toast Of London sees Matt Berry play Steven Toast, a classically-trained actor living in Soho, the heart of London's theatre-land. With the misguided help of his inept agent Jane Plough, played by Doon Mackichan, and his idiosyncratic middle-aged flatmate Ed Howzer-Black (Robert Bathurst), Toast makes desperate attempts to get the woman, job and life he thinks he deserves.
A fantastic cast of famous faces star in Matt Berry and Arthur Mathews's Channel 4 comedy series. Alongside Berry, Mackichan and Bathurst is Harry Peacock as Toast's nemesis, Ray Purchase, the series sees appearances from Peter Davison, Amanda Donohoe, Tim Downie, Matthew Holness, Louise Jameson, Trevor Laird, Shazad Latif, Adrian Lukis, Terry Mynott, John Nettles, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Steve Pemberton, Morgana Robinson, and Queens of the Stoneage front-man Joshua Homme.
