This Time With Alan Partridge review
In this new woke TV world, where he is constantly aware of what he's not allowed to say, Partridge's wings are clipped.
Ed Cumming, The Independent, 1st May 2021This Time With Alan Partridge review
This Time With Alan Partridge (BBC One, Friday) returned for a second series, with our man in the smart-casual slacks thriving in a nightly live show/pile of piffle that's not a million miles away from The One Show. He should be delighted, but this is Alan P, with the P standing for Paranoid. He has sniffed the air and suspects change is coming. And it is not wearing driving gloves.

It's not exactly the most relaxing comedy to watch, but there are comic gems in the rich feast of awfulness.

Still an exquisite send up - but with a little too much Coogan.
