According to The Daily Star, executives at ITV "are lining up a string of famous faces to make cameo appearances in the series, which they are predicting will be a ratings winner".

This project was announced in 2013 but was sidelined by their other projects. In February 2016, The Mirror reported the project was back on the agenda. Ant said: "We've done a few pilots over the years, developed some sitcom ideas but eventually we would end up doing a comedy sitcom or comedy drama. That’s the next thing we would do. It's in the pipeline." Dec added: "We've looked at it... We might play versions of ourselves or heightened versions of ourselves."
