Conor wants only the best for his mother. But he's still a novice at housework, including washing. So Mairéad decides to give him lessons, clearing out his wash-basket, only to find that Conor is holding something for a "friend".

It's Christmas Eve and Conor, a heavily pregnant Mairéad and Sgt Healy are preparing for the imminent new arrival.

Conor wants only the best for his mother. But he's still a novice at housework, including washing. So Mairéad decides to give him lessons, clearing out his wash-basket, only to find that Conor is holding something for a "friend".

Unfortunately, that friend turns out to be Hammer, the only person in the world that local nutter Billy Murphy is afraid of.
