- TV comedy that was never made
- 2015
Topical comedy show presented by Jolyon Rubinstein and Heydon Prowse.
Key details
The Week That Wasn't is a topical comedy show that takes a totally new approach to what's happened during the week. It's the week's news delivered in a way that will mess with your mind, but weirdly make everything feel a little bit clearer at the same time. Because sometimes fiction is truer than fact, and on The Week That Wasn't it's hard to tell the difference.
Presented by The Revolution Will Be Televised's Jolyon Rubinstein and Heydon Prowse, The Week That Wasn't is a collaboration with expert clip manipulators Mothers Best Child, who can make Boris Johnson knock down Tower Bridge with a misjudged basketball throw, or show us someone nicking a flatscreen TV from 10 Downing Street while David Cameron gives a press conference outside.
The show is a mixture of clips, stunts, jokes and news, but whatever it is, you won't know what just happened.
