Charlie's making up for lost time and showing his long-secret affection at every opportunity. Eventually he drives Caroline to distraction and she makes an attempt to escape from his attentions. In doing so she injures an ankle and becomes a prisoner in her bedroom, at the mercy of the adoring Charlie.
