Further details
Steve and Rob take in the historic cathedral city of Sigüenza, host to the emblematic Casa del Doncel. Serendipitously, the first collected edition of Shakespeare's works is also being hosted at the cathedral, inspiring the duo to test their acting chops. Over lunch, Steve remarks Hamlet would be his dream role. "That train... has left that station." Rob replies. Continuing on their journey, they arrive at the incredible World Heritage site of Cuenca - a city built into the cliff face of the mountainous region.
Location Guide
During your stay in Sigüenza, don't miss the Cathedral of Sigüenza. Rising up from the heart of the city, it contains Romanesque and Gothic architecture, while also being host to the Chapel of the Doncel and regular exhibitions. From there, it's a short walk to Nöla, a gastronomic dream located in another of the medieval city's most emblematic buildings, Casa del Doncel - home of the 15th-century Castilian noble Martín Vázquez de Arce, who is now interred in the cathedral, and one of the most enduring icons of the region's deep historical roots.
Following that it's back on the road to continue south to the incredible World Heritage City of Cuenca. Founded by the Moors, the city is built into the mountain itself, and is famed for its "Casas Colgadas", or hanging houses - homes seemingly clinging to the cliff 's edge. There, you can stay at the Parador de Cuenca, a former convent sitting atop the Huécar Gorge with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the city. Be sure to visit the town's plazas for a taste of the local music scene too.

Press
There's a melancholy tint to this series; a sense of time running out for the characters and format. A certain testiness has seeped into the Brydon-Coogan relationship, a sense that however much they resist, they're trapped in their roles. It's still redeemingly funny, though. Tonight, Coogan risks a Jimmy Savile impression and Brydon muses on Eddie Redmayne ("The kind of name an upper-middle-class girl would give her pony").
