The Last Leg: Locked Down Under, Episode 1

The Last Leg: Locked Down Under attempts a TV first: a live comedy show with three hosts in three different locations at the same time. The show will take viewers on a global tour from Melbourne, to London and finally Huddersfield, as hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker present from their respective homes to offer their unmatched satirical insight to current world events. They are joined by guests Miriam Margolyes, Rob Beckett and The Horne Section.

Further details

Ian Katz, director of programmes at Channel 4 says: "Adam, Josh and Alex will surely be setting a new record for the most socially distanced entertainment show on the planet by broadcasting live from their homes in Melbourne, London and Huddersfield. What can possibly go wrong?"

Phil Harris, head of entertainment at Channel 4 adds: "The Last Leg boys have taken on everything from Brexit to the Paralympics but never a pandemic. The smartness, speed and adaptability of them and the team to get this show up and running has been incredible, and we can't wait to have them back on Friday nights."

Miriam Margolyes shocks Last Leg with Boris comments

Miriam Margolyes shocks fans after admitting she 'had difficulty not wanting Boris Johnson to die' during coronavirus battle.

The Independent, 9th May 2020

The lighthearted TV responses to lockdown have been abundant so far, from video-linked episodes of Have I Got News For You to Matt Lucas's sketches and Grayson Perry's Art Club. Yet, none have quite managed to capture the mix of anxiety, uncertainty and unexpected humour many of us have been experiencing - which is where The Last Leg comics come in. Live from Melbourne, London and Huddersfield, the trio will present their typically incisive take on the week's events.
