The Comic Strip Presents The Best Of

The Comic Strip Presents The Best Of

The ground-shaking impact of The Comic Strip's anarchic humour rattled the televisions of 1980s Britain, and when the smoke cleared they left a gaping crater that lesser comics are still failing into today.

This 5 disc box set marks the first release of the three most recent episodes: The Hunt For Tony Blair (2011), Five Go To Rehab (2012) and ...Sex Actually (2005) - plus the anniversary special, 30 Years Of The Comic Strip Presents, including hilarious new and previously unreleased footage - all of which are new to DVD.

It also includes a selection of the 16 'best' original Comic Strip Presents... films:

Five Go Mad In Dorset
Bad News Tour
Susie
A Fistful Of Travellers' Cheques
Gino - Full Story And Pics
The Strike
More Bad News
Mr Jolly Lives Next Door
GLC - The Carnage Continues...
Spaghetti Hoops
Red Nose Of Courage
The Crying Game
Detectives On The Edge Of A Nervous Breakdown
Gregory - Diary Of A Nutcase

The set also includes the 1984 Professionals spoof from the Comic Strip team, The Bullshitters: Roll Out The Gunbarrel.

Not in the UK?

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
