Contenders Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton are forced to wrangle wild animals - with unpleasant consequences for Sophie and Steve. Taskmaster Greg Davies's loyal valet Alex Horne watches on as Joanne demonstrates a traditional Irish handshake, John reveals a love of pickled onions and Nick sparks controversy with a cardboard tube.

Task 1: Work out who you are shaking hands with. You must only shake hands with the hands, and you may not handle the hands in any other way. You may chop off a total of three things and one thumb, but if you set off the health and safety emergency alarm, you are disqualified. Also, you may not look around, over, under or through the fence. Best hand identification wins. You have a maximum of 20 minutes. Your time starts now.

- Joanne: Five correct handshakes, but also correctly identified Alex. - 4
- John: Six correct handshakes. - 3
- Sophie: Five correct handshakes. - 2
- Steve: Three correct handshakes. - 1

Task 2: Create the biggest and best dot-to-dot picture. Biggest and best dot-to-dot picture wins. You have 20 minutes. Your time starts now.

- John: A snail. - 5
- Sophie: A cow. - 5
- Steve: A framed Mona Lisa. - 3
- Joanna: A moustache above a nasolabial fold. - 2
- Nick: A snake. - 1

Task 3 (Team Task), Part of the task: Fastest team to discover the other half of this task wins. You must always hold hands. You time starts now. Full task: Fastest team to go to the lab, discover the cake, eat one half, put the other half in the postbox, put a flower on top of this task and then sit on top of this task wins five points. You must not necessarily always hold hands. That's up to you. Your time started when you said your time starts now.

- Joanne, John and Sophie: 10:05 - 5
- Nick and Steve: 11:12 - 4

Live task: Pass all your loo roll through your loo roll inner tube. If your loo roll breaks at any point, you must put down your loo roll and put both your hands in the air for ten seconds before carrying on. Fastest wins.

- Joanne: Only one to complete the task. - 5
- John, Nick, Sophie and Steve: Disqualified for failing to get all of the loo roll off, or in the case of Nick tearing the tube and putting the paper on top of it. - 0
