Further details

Two months have passed since we were last in Pontyberry, and life is relatively drama free. Stella is looking forward to Luke's homecoming and busy trying to scrape all her pennies together to buy bunk beds for her boys, while Emma and Sunil's wedding plans are coming together.

Jagadeesh is excited about the Grease-the-Musical-themed stag weekend he's organising, but Emma is all too aware that her mum is strapped for cash and quietly makes sacrifices to her big day.

Wedding plans are put to the back of everyone's minds, however, when news of the death of a local legend breaks. The whole community is devastated when 'Dick the Kick' - who secured victory for Wales against the All Blacks in 1969 with a winning kick from a 90-degree angle - passes away. This is a man who deserves to be sent off in style and, soon after lamenting her lack of business, Paula is tasked with arranging the funeral to end all funerals. It's all hands on deck as Stella is drafted in to help organise the event, and no expense is spared, especially by Bobby, who hires a team of good-looking extras as pallbearers.

The whole town turns out for the funeral, which attracts the attention of the national press, and a number of famous faces. But some unexpected news leaves Paula reeling and facing potential ruin... until Sean saves the day - yet again.

Notes

A technical fault caused this episode to be broadcast for 40 minutes without sound before being replaced by a Simpsons repeat, in its usual Friday evening slot.
