Sorry! - The Complete Fourth Series
Starring Ronnie Corbett in a role specially written for him, Ronnie is hilarious as the eternally frustrated Timothy Lumsden. One of the most successful comedy series of the 1980s, Sorry! confirmed Corbett as a British comic institution.
Tim has more than his fair share of wit and intelligence - but, unfortunately, he also has a harridan of a mother who shackles
him to the family home. And while Timothy's sister, Muriel, has managed to escape and his father spends his time hiding in the shed, Tim remains his mother's pride, joy and mollycoddled son. Tim's every bid for freedom, his dreams and his girlfriends are vetted and rejected by the ever-watchful Mrs Lumsden - even his mealtimes are ruined by culinary atrocities such as her curry meringue pie. But the 40-something is not about to give up quite yet - where there's a will, there's a chance he can sneak out the back door...
This fourth series finds Timothy attempting to burgle his own house; buying a lethal pianola; coming a cropper as he delivers a book to the local hospital; checking on his father's interest in a local widow, Violet Cathcart; meeting a young nurse with a penchant for snooker and inviting the Bearded Lady to his house party!
