No matter what he's doing or what job he's in, Frank always manages to cause chaos, with hilarious consequences. His marriage to Betty seems solid enough, but Frank's relationship with his mother-in-law has never exactly been a good one.

As Frank's long suffering wife, Betty manages to keep her cool thoughout Frank's various harrassments and situations. Betty's mother, Beryl Fisher, wanted her to marry someone other than Frank (in fact anyone but Frank).
