'Wear your own clothes day' at school is approaching and Lily is anxious not to look like a dork, as they usually do in Jas's home-made and un-cool, geeky t-shirts.

When cool girl Natasha Jones invites Lily to join their group and dress in yellow on Mufti Day, Lily finds herself caught between wanting to be with Natasha and the cool girls and not offending Jas, who has big plans for this year's outfits.

On the day Lily tries to keep a foot in both camps by quickly changing in and out of the dress Jas has made her so she can spend time with both Jas and the cool girls. Lily is rumbled, though, and Jas is upset at the betrayal.

They are united at the end, however, when Lily makes amends for upsetting Jas by customising the horrid, bright green dress Jas had made her to create 3 new cool 'zombie' outfits for her, Jas and Martha. They are a hit with the whole class, including Natasha and the cool girls.

Meanwhile Ollie is having a difficult time, as it freaks him out when the girls talk about clothes all the time. In the end he decides he can't cope. It's time to end their friendship and he offers them each a formal notice of 'friendundancy'.
