Further details
The EMTs are called out to a young male in a student house who is suffering from drug induced paranoia. Rachid seeks out a housemate who can potentially sit with the student and watch him climb down over the next few hours. As he goes upstairs, Rachid is puzzled by a pungent smell which seems to be getting stronger until he reaches the bathroom and comes across a scary 'purple job'; a suicide victim, who has been dead for some time, hanging in the shower unit.
The discovery of 'Purple Phil' sets off a chain reaction for Rachid. As well as being freaked out by Phil's purple appearance, Rachid is also shocked that he wasn't even missed for a fortnight. Didn't he have any mates? Family? A girlfriend? Stuart and Ashley think Rachid is developing a fear of death phobia. They watch Rachid veer dangerously towards maturity and a desire to settle down; the result of his newly developed fear of dying alone.
And when the unit is called to attend a boy who has fallen and hit his head, the question of ICE (In Case of Emergency) contacts rears its head with interesting consequences.
