Shameless - Series 1-4

Shameless - Series 1-4

This boxset provides another grim - but often humourous - look at Manchester family life with the quite literally Shameless Gallaghers.

In the fourth series the adventures continue, with Frank, Lip, Carl, Debbie, Ian and Liam, trying to get on with their lives despite pretty much everything working against them.

In episode one, as Lip's 18th birthday comes around, his mother - Frank's long-estranged wife - returns, with some shocking news. Soon, she begins sinking her feminine claws back into Frank, but he still being with Sheila, and neither women willing to consider sharing, there's a big decision he must make.

Later, Frank begins working in an ice cream van - but only as a front for his drug dealing!

All in all, this hit Channel 4 comic drama is great fun. Perhaps not for everyone of course, but more than enjoyable and well worth purchasing for fans of the series.
