Further details
Events kick off with the miraculous appearance of a lorry-load of lifted meat, swiped by Kev and Lip. When the pair sells the knock-off down at The Jockey it looks like full stomachs are a dead cert for all of Chatsworth's residents, but the meat is contaminated, people start getting ill and before you know it events have escalated and the British Army arrive in town...
As the armed squaddies descend en masse, so do Veronica's mum Carole and Tourrettes-suffering, arsonist brother Marty. With nowhere to stay - Marty burned their house down - and "no room at the inn" they force themselves on Fiona and Steve for Christmas.
Never one to miss an opportunity, Frank rallies the estate into a full-blown riot, as his valium-fuelled lover Sheila goes into labour for the holy birth.
Notes
Theme music written and performed by ex-Smith's guitarist Johnny Marr.
