Frank and Lu are hired to look for a missing manuscript from dystopian sci-fi author Greg Alban.
An avid Alban fan, Frank is keen to take the case. Arriving at the reclusive writer's mansion, it becomes clear this was an inside job.
All eyes turn to the staff who work at the property: security guard Carl, eccentric accountant Max, housekeeper Dierdre and Greg's loyal right-hand man, Don.
Frank soon realises why you should never meet your heroes; Greg is found dead and any of the staff who were all mistreated by him could be responsible.
Can the PIs reveal the culprit and trace the manuscript, while the killer walks amongst them?
