After choosing Jeb, Rachel finds herself on a chaperoned double date - alongside her ex, Joshua, and Heather, the deeply strange, whispering courtship partner who Josh's dad Samson has paired him with. Meanwhile, to apply to become a paramedic, Rachel needs a driving licence. Dad David takes the reins as instructor, and swiftly shows off his prowess... by traumatising Rachel and getting their car stolen. Elsewhere, Aaron is despondent at Elder Samson's stance against gay marriage. So, under Melissa's guidance, mum Fiona proves that she's a good mum by promoting her son's homoerotic merchandise and dancing badly at an LGBTQ+ nightclub.
