Comic Relief - Red Nose Day

8 Hour Live Broadcast - 7pm to 3am.

Lenny Henry kicks off one of the biggest nights for television comedy as a host of A-list stars do funny things to raise money for people in the UK and Africa. This year Comic Relief is celebrating 25 years on our screens, with contributions from the best comedy and entertainment talent in the UK.

Highlights include Rowan Atkinson appearing as the new Archbishop of Canterbury, Miranda Hart starring in a unique edition of Call the Midwife, Jack Whitehall and Micky Flanagan joining Dame Edna Everage for MasterChef, and Peter Kay presenting the results of his very own physical challenge. Plus, Ricky Gervais returns as David Brent in a new sketch!

Later in the night there will be comedy from Mrs Brown's Boys, and the cast of Fresh Meat go back to their roots with a unique university-based challenge.

Citizen Khan travels down from Birmingham, and David Walliams meets all the celebrities that he's been 'intimate' with over the last 12 months. Plus, Russell Howard serves up some good news.

There's also highlights from other Comic Relief programmes, including Graham Norton's big chat show, and the river challenge involving Jack Dee and Dara O'Briain. Music stars lending a hand include the biggest boyband on the globe - One Direction.

Presenters across the night will include Lenny Henry, Jonathan Ross, Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and John Bishop.

From 1:30am Nick Grimshaw presents the very best sketches from the last 25 years of the telethon, mixed with his favourite comedy clips from the last 12 months.
