Episode 2 - Rising Damp

This programme looks at Eric Chappell's classic sitcom which starred Leonard Rossiter as the miserly landlord Rigsby, as well as Frances de la Tour, Richard Beckinsale and Don Warrington. Chappell talks about how the racial prejudices of 1970s Britain gave him the idea for the series. Don Warrington talks about his role as Phillip, supposed son of an African chief.
