Series 2, Episode 3

Mrs. Slocombe's husband pays an unexpected visit to the hotel, forcing her into hiding. Meanwhile, Mr. Rumbold discovers that he intends to purchase the manor, putting the team's lucrative pensions' and comfortable arrangements in jeopardy. They decide to fake a large number of extra staff so that the house seems unprofitable.
