Series 1, Episode 7 - A Day in the Life

Frank and Tessa are reconciled - for the time being - and find themselves solving other people's domestic problems for a change. Diane is still battling with her marriage and has resolved not to see her husband Simon again after finding out about his affair. But this proves impossible when Simon gets into serious trouble and she has to come to the rescue. Frank's daughter Jade has fallen in love with fellow student Mark, but their relationship is not all sweetness and light either. Meanwhile Frank's tangle with the VAT people causes him more than a moment of panic.
