Jen persuades Colin that he needs a holiday and Colin reluctantly agrees to take one. However he ends up going alone as Jen is asked to attend a lecture tour in Egypt and he decides Des is too boring to go with.
However on the hloiday Colin can't settle because he thinks he's left the cooker on so he cuts his holiday short. On returning to his flat he discovers it's been off the whole time.
