After a glowing appraisal from Roland, Trumper decides Thelma is far too capable to be constrained to the fourth floor and must be promoted upwards. Both she and Digby are aghast at his decision to no avail. Digby's mood changes when her shapely replacement, Miss Vine, arrives - but for Thelma it is undoubtedly war!
