When Hetty leaves husband Sam and daughter Myrtle to fend for themselves, Ada thoughtfully invites them in for a meal. Then Gran Foskett, Hetty's fearsome mother, arrives on the scene; she intends to 'do' for Sam and Myrtle! Alf, Jeff and Eddie devise a plan to save the neighbourhood from her continued presence.
