Series 1, Episode 6 - Roy Band

It's hard to stay out of trouble when you are a cartoon and this week is no exception for Roy, as he tries to win the local heat of a TV talent contest in order to keep his friend in school.

Further details

The whole school is buzzing with excitement at the prospect of the talent heats but Roy's pal, Jack, seems unusually quiet. Roy learns that Jack may have to move back to Poland because his dad has lost his job. Roy is devastated and wonders how can he stop this from happening. If he could somehow win the talent show, he could donate the cash prize to Jack's family and maybe Jack could stay in Ireland.

Disaster strikes, though, when Mr Hammond the headmaster bans Roy from performing any cartoon tricks in the contest after a couple of animated antics at school get out of hand. Desperate to win the cash to keep his friend at school, Roy gathers his friends and forms a band in the hope of winning the prize. There is only one problem, though - they cannot sing!
