Pilot (1974)

Recorded and broadcast in 1974, this is the original pilot episode, based on Chappell's stage play The Banana Box.

Series 2 (1975)

Seven more episodes and a Christmas special followed in 1975, with Rigsby still trying to woo Ms Jones. This series also featured a character called Brenda.

Series 3 (1977)

Seven episodes were broadcast in 1977, with the final episode featuring Rigsby discovering basement tenant Mr Osborne dead.

Series 4 (1978)

Series 4 saw Alan having graduated from medical school and moved out of the house. Of course, that meant a spare bed was now available in Philip's room... and Rigsby had no intentions of keeping it empty for long.
