A rapid-fire sketch show mixing veteran performers with relative newcomers.
Recurring characters included 'the woman who looks out of the window' (Julie Goodyear); Dave Davids, the TV presenter who gets everything wrong (Melvyn Hayes); a suave safecracker (Leslie Phillips) always confronted with the unexpected when he opens a safe; a film-obsessed farmer (Gorden Kaye) imagining his animals in the plots of famous films; a scheming grandmother (Honor Blackman) using emotional blackmail on her daughter; an antique-shop owner (John Inman) who gets carried away when explaining the history of objects for sale; and the 'man in a coffin' (Nicholas Smith), mistakenly buried alive but managing to remain chipper.
