Potter, played by the late Arthur Lowe, full of hard sorbo bounce, has been elongated by Robin Bailey as if someone had taken a firm grip at each end of Potter and pulled. The simple physical change from short and fat to tall and slim discloses a kinship I never noticed before between Potter and Foggy Dewhurst, the tall bossy one in The Last of The Summer Wine.
