Here are some first look pictures from the new 2016 version of Porridge, which will form part of the BBC's Landmark Sitcom Season.

Written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, who created and penned the Ronnie Barker original, the new one-off episode sees Kevin Bishop playing Fletch's grandson, also known as Fletch. He has been imprisoned for a series of cyber crimes. Wily prison officer Meekie (Mark Bonnar) has got his beady eye on Fletch: he knows a wrong 'un when he sees one.

The new version of Porridge will be shown this autumn as part of the BBC's Landmark Sitcom Season, which also includes re-makes of Up Pompeii! and Are You Being Served?, a spin-off from Keeping Up Appearances (titled Young Hyacinth), and a new episode of Goodnight Sweetheart.
