Rich persuades Rob that he needs a model to accompany him to the wedding: Rob works in the music industry so he must meet them every day, right? Unfortunately Rob's job is mainly coming up with track-listings for dodgy compilation albums, limiting his access to models. But he convinces his desk buddy Laura to let him accompany her to an album cover shoot, where he meets beautiful model and aspiring singer Aimee. He manages to blag a date with her by telling her he's best mates with Jamelia; a lie that comes back to haunt him when the pop star makes a surprise appearance on his date. A few impressive 'old skool' dance moves later, not only has Rob disgraced himself, but he's also in trouble with the law...

TV Review: Plus One

As a show, it does the job of passing 30 minutes, but really, there's not a great deal to love about it. There's simple solutions to all the problems which spiral out of control, but sadly, the whole thing feels a bit contrived.

Episode 1.3 Review

Oh, this is interesting: this probably the least funny episode of Plus One so far, but also its most compelling. A combination of winning performances and an unpredictable script glossed over a lack of belly-laughs; as it's just so enjoyable spending time with this bunch...
