Series 1 (2013)

We first met Marcus, Stylax and Grumio in 2013. This series went on to win a British Comedy Award.

Series 2 (2014)

Series 2 saw Marcus getting ever closer to Cynthia ... and Metella.

Series 3 (2016)

We flash forward all the way to 25BC for Series 3, with the Games in town. Cynthia and Metella are gone, but somehow Marcus gets an actual girlfriend... Delphine.

Series 4 (2018)

The lives of Marcus and Grumio are thrown into turmoil as the sudden departure of Stylax is met by the equally sudden arrival of dappy blonde builder and new-pleb-on-the-block Jason. The new trio soon set up a wine bar together.
