Pardon My Genie - The Complete First Series
Aimed at a young audience but hugely popular with children and adults alike, Pardon My Genie was devised and written by future Roberts Robots and Rentaghost creator Bob Block.
When a young shop assistant called Hal Adden casually tries to polish an old watering can - well, you can guess what happens! But the genie who appears is as rusty as the can he lives in; he's four thousand years old, and his magic doesn't always work as well as it should...
Ellis Jones plays Hal, with Roy Barraclough (Sez Les) starring as his long-suffering boss, hardware shop owner Mr Cobbledick, and Hugh Paddick (Round The Horne) as the Genie.
This first series of the memorably quirky comedy series, screened in 1972, is released to shops on 2nd August 2010 after having been a Network web-exclusive.

Not in the UK?
Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.
If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.
If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.
If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
